A leading Facilities Management contractor is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee construction and FM-related works on a live site in Campbeltown.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of FM construction works onsite, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing and coordinating all FM works onsite, including subcontractors and direct labour
- Acting as the main point of contact on site for the client and FM teams
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme, budget, and quality standards
- Writing, issuing, and managing Permits to Work, RAMS, and other site documentation
- Monitoring health & safety compliance and enforcing site standards at all times
- Conducting site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks
- Reporting progress, issues, and risks to senior management
- Ensuring minimal disruption to site operations during works
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager with main contracting experience
- Strong understanding of FM works in live environments
- Experience writing and managing Permits to Work
- Solid knowledge of health & safety regulations and safe systems of work
- SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS (essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
