Job overview: Oak Tree Ward in Hillingdon Part of CNWL is looking for compassionate and enthusiastic Band 5 RMN to work on our Older Adults Mental Health In-patient ward based at The Woodland Centre. We can boast excellent learning opportunities and further development both in physical and mental health conditions.
Main duties of the job:
- Work as an advocate for our service users speaking up for their care, offering dignity and respect, also encouraging our services users to be a part of decision making and maintain independence.
- Have excellent communication skills and ability to use IT skills.
- Stay up-to-date on mandatory trainings and revalidation.
- Safeguarding knowledge.
- Be willing to work as part of the team on quality improvement projects.
Person specification:
- Education and Qualifications: NMC Registered General nurse, NMC Registered Mental Health Nurse or NMC registered dual trained nurse.
- Previous Experience: You need previous experience of working in NHS hospital as either General nurse or Mental Health Nurse.
- Skills and Knowledge: Able to communicate with the multi-disciplinary team, present cases, take note of actions, update others in the team and use handover effectively.
