We are seeking a Grounds Maintenance operative to join our team. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our gardens and landscapes. If you have a passion for gardening and enjoy working outdoors, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Leaf blowing, assist with landscape maintenance such as mowing lawns and trimming hedges
- Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- Prune and trim plants to ensure healthy growth
- Weed and remove unwanted plants from gardens and landscapes
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform gardening tasks
- Maintain garden beds by mulching, fertilising, and cultivating soil
- Irrigate plants as needed to ensure proper hydration
- Monitor plant health and identify any pests or diseases
Experience:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of plants, flowers, and trees
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in gardening
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Driving licence preferred
