DP World and CNS are looking for a driven Strategic Account Manager to join our team, supporting growth across the UK and Europe. This is a commercially focused role where you’ll take ownership of developing new business, managing client relationships, and driving revenue through the sale of our SaaS solutions. You’ll work closely with the Senior Sales Manager and wider team, playing a key role in expanding CNS’s market presence and enhancing the customer experience.
Please note: This role is based from our Southampton port, with an expectation to attend site approximately once per week. We are open to candidates across the UK, so this is not a deal breaker.
How You Will Contribute
- Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline to support consistent business growth.
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and promote CNS SaaS solutions effectively.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team to shape and implement innovative sales strategies.
- Drive customer acquisition and increase product revenue through focused sales activity.
- Generate, manage, and convert incoming leads to maximise opportunities.
- Utilise CRM systems to accurately track sales activity and client interactions.
- Support the expansion of CNS’s presence across the UK and Europe, particularly with products such as CDMS and BEEMS.
- Contribute to improving the overall sales process and customer journey from prospecting through to onboarding.
What You Will Bring
- Proven track record in sales, with experience in pipeline development and client engagement.
- Experience within shipping, logistics, transport, freight forwarding, or a related industry is advantageous.
- Background in customs software or SaaS solutions is highly desirable.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing stakeholder relationships.
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and analytical skills.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple opportunities effectively.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience using CRM systems to manage sales activity is advantageous.
