The Producer for CNN Global Productions (Events) is a key editorial role leading the production of content and event elements for live, virtual, and hybrid events. From preâproduction to delivery, the Producer works with and leads a team to create editorially sound, visually compelling, and commercially successful events and content that reflect CNN's global brand. Reporting to the Executive Producer, this position is responsible for producing multiâplatform content that expands event experiences to CNN's core audience across linear, digital, social, and streaming platforms. The Producer will help establish best practices, experiment with audience experiences, and contribute to developing CNN's events as a distinctive storytelling platform.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Produce a range of longâ and shortâform multiâplatform content for and from CNN live events, ensuring quality, timeliness, and editorial integrity.
- Lead and support production staff throughout all stages of event production.
- Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and programming teams to align events with sponsorship goals and audience needs.
- Oversee event logistics, production timelines, and content ideation.
- Work closely with talent, partners, and vendors to deliver seamless, professional experiences.
- Contribute to the ideation and pitching of new event concepts with strategic and creative leads.
- Drive content production in coordination with digital and social teams.
- Ensure all events meet CNN's editorial standards and reflect its global perspective.
Qualifications & Experiences
You are an experienced content creator with a background in major news organizations, editorial live events, digital storytelling, and broadcast production. You excel at leading production teams in fastâpaced, highâpressure environments, take initiative, and enjoy teamwork. You bring editorial intelligence, creative vision, and professionalism to every stage of the event lifecycle.
Hybrid Working
This role is advertised as a hybrid work model, that combines remote and inâoffice work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your line manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your line manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
