CNH Industrial is a Global Company in the Capital Goods industry, that is looking for a Maintenance MMC/Fitter to be part of the Basildon team. What is the role? An exciting opportunity has become available to join our highly skilled and versatile maintenance team. Working as part of the maintenance team you will ensure that all equipment on site is operating efficiently with the minimum amount of downtime and that the high working environment standards are maintained throughout the facility. Some of the key responsibilities include: Maintain plant and equipment to maximise production within our facility. Carry out preventative maintenance as scheduled and complete all paperwork as required. Identify additional requirements for preventive maintenance. Attend breakdowns and contribute positively towards engineering and manufacturing challenges. Ensuring machine safety standards are kept to the highest level and ensuring critical spares are maintained to ensure minimal downtime of the machinery Ensure that your work/stores area is kept clean and free from obstructions and waste, maintaining a good standard of general housekeeping Identify and monitor track side spares for your areas. Keep an up-to-date record of required parts Ensure current standards of health and safety are in place and are adhered to across the facility. Team player, the ability to work closely with other members of the maintenance team. Actively participate in all continuous improvement activities / initiatives & Kaizen events. Proactively identify & make recommendations for improvements Sharing experience, best practice, relaying all relevant knowledge & information with colleagues What we\βre looking for: Mechanical engineering or similar apprenticeship with relevant experience is essential. (Level 3 Minimum) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. PC Literate, able to use and understand documented procedures. Strong communicator with excellent organisational skills. Previous experience of working within a maintenance role. Demonstrate a high standard of fault-finding ability. Experience in maintaining, repairing, and developing machinery. Hydraulic and Pneumatic fault finding. Structured approach to problem solving. Ability to work well within a team and on own initiative. Beneficial but not essential: Maintenance experience and diagnostics of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems Maintenance experience and diagnostics of painting systems including robots Familiarity with automotive production lines Experience of welding, milling machines, lathes, grinders, band saws, drills, hand tools etc. Experience of Fork Trucks and MEWPS Experience of working in Medium Risk Confined Spaces41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
