Our client is looking for a Senior SOC Analyst to lead and support a small team delivering 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC) services across multiple platforms and mission-critical projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on security professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with team leadership and stakeholder engagement.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SOC Analysts, promoting a high-performance and collaborative culture
  • Monitor security platforms, investigate alerts, and respond to threats and anomalous activity
  • Oversee and enhance security controls, contributing to RBAC and Identity & Access Management (IAM/IDAM) initiatives
  • Support ISO 27001 compliance, governance activities, and audit preparation
  • Deliver security awareness training and produce clear, actionable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Act as a senior escalation point, ensuring incidents are managed effectively through to resolution

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in a SOC or related technical cyber security role
  • SIEM platforms (Elastic SIEM)
  • Cloud technologies
  • Threat Intelligence
  • Networking
  • IAM / IDAM
  • ITSM policies and processes
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a security or technical operations environment

Desirable

  • Degree in Computing, Cyber Security, or a related discipline
  • Relevant certifications such as CISMP or CompTIA Security+
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001 and broader security governance frameworks

Security Clearance

Developed Vetting (DV) clearance is mandatory for this role.
