The Sales Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Internal Sales Manager and the wider commercial function. You will be responsible for day-to-day sales administration, coordinating customer enquiries and orders, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the customer journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and wants to develop within a technical manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Internal Sales Manager with customer enquiries, quotations, order processing, and follow-ups
- Act as a first point of contact for customers, providing professional and timely responses
- Prepare, issue, and manage sales documentation including quotations and order acknowledgements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order records within the MRP system (training provided)
- Coordinate with internal teams to support order fulfilment, deliveries, and order tracking
- Assist with general sales and commercial administration as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role is desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
