Job Summary
We are currently looking for someone to run and control our finances due to our existing Financial Controller re-locating. The successful applicant will run and maintain accurate financial records, perform the day-to-day accounting tasks and ensure compliance with internal policies and financial regulations are met.
About You
You are well-organised, methodical, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Experience of working within a similar company is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks within the Finance Department including VAT returns, running both sales and purchase ledger, credit control, banking etc.
Experience and Skills
- At least 5 years proven experience in a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Sage & Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational abilities.
- Must have at least AAT Level 2 qualification.
