CNC Recruitment is seeking a Draftsperson / Steel Detailer for our client in the South Petherton area - a well-established steel fabrication company in the Southwest area.
Job type: temp to perm, permanent after 12 weeks
Location: Ilton, Somerset
Working hours: Monday to Friday, day shift
Salary: competitive
Duties:
- Creating GAs and fabrication drawings of building plans and structures using computer-aided design software
- Reviewing drawings to ensure they are accurate and complete
- Communication and helping the fabrication team to understand any questions related to your drawings
- Site surveys when requested
- Communicating with contractors, architects, engineers, or other members of the construction team to discuss project details
Requirements:
- Experience within Structural / Architectural Steel
- Correct right to work in the UK
- Experience using the AUTO CAD / Advanced Steel platform or similar – role will involve developing company design department
- Full driving licence
