CNC Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our dynamic client team - a Somerset-based engineering company with over 40 years of industry experience.
Job type: Temporary Ongoing
Location: Dorchester
Working hours: Monday – Thursday, Day Shift
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of CNC machines and associated equipment in a precision engineering environment
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications to produce high-quality components
- Take responsibility for machine setup, operation, and basic upkeep
- Work closely with production leads to prioritize tasks and meet scheduling requirements
- Monitor tool performance and liaise with suppliers to ensure efficient tooling solutions
- Perform routine quality checks and adjustments to maintain standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:
