CNC Recruitment are seeking for experienced CNC Turning Programmers & Operators to join our dynamic and growing client team in Chard area. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with Fanuc-based controls and the ability to program and operate CNC lathes independently. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a clean, modern machine shop with a highly skilled and energetic team.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to £34,000 p.a., based on experience and skills
Working Week: 4-Day Week, Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Overtime available)
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate Fanuc-based CNC turning machines independently.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Work to close tolerances and inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 months of experience as a CNC Turning Machinist and Programmer using Fanuc-based controls.
- Strong ability to program and operate CNC lathes unsupervised.
- Excellent knowledge of reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Experience in working to tight tolerances and conducting quality inspections.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
