CNC Recruitment is currently recruiting for a skilled Joiner / Bespoke Staircase Installer to join a growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced joiner or skilled woodworker to work on high-end, bespoke staircase projects across the UK, delivering quality craftsmanship and exceptional attention to detail.
The role is predominantly site-based, installing luxury bespoke staircases at various locations nationwide. When not working on-site, you will be based at the workshop in Ilminster, assisting with manufacturing, preparation and other joinery-related tasks.
Location: Ilminster, Somerset, with UK-wide site installations

Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour when working away on-site | £16.00 per hour when working at the workshop in Ilminster
Key Responsibilities
Installing bespoke staircases at residential and commercial properties across the UK.
Carrying out joinery and woodworking tasks to a high standard.
Assisting with workshop manufacturing and preparation when required.
Ensuring all work meets the required quality and finishing standards.
Working independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently.
Maintaining a professional approach on-site and in the workshop.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience in joinery, staircase installation, bespoke furniture making or a similar woodworking trade.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Strong practical skills and the ability to solve problems on-site.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility and willingness to travel throughout the UK, including working away from home when required.
A positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn new skills.
Staircase installation experience is advantageous but not essential. Applications are welcome from skilled joiners and woodworkers from other backgrounds who are keen to develop their skills and progress within a specialist industry.
