CNC Recruitment is delighted to be representing a highly prestigious, large European corporation in the recruitment of an experienced Hands-On Line Leader. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident production professional to join a fast-paced, quality-driven manufacturing environment and take responsibility for the day-to-day performance of a production line.
The Role
- Lead and coordinate production operatives, ensuring the line runs safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- This is a genuinely hands-on leadership position, where you will lead from the front while also supporting production activities when required.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating production teams on a designated line
- Allocating tasks and ensuring production targets are achieved
- Monitoring quality, output and production performance
- Leading product changeovers and minimising downtime
- Supporting machine operation and basic adjustments where required
- Ensuring food safety, GMP, HACCP, hygiene and health & safety standards are maintained
- Completing production records and documentation accurately
- Identifying and resolving operational issues quickly
- Supporting continuous improvement and team development
About You
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, food, nutrition or FMCG
- Experience leading, coordinating or supervising production teams
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of quality, food safety and health & safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- A practical, proactive and can-do attitude
- A willingness to remain hands-on and work alongside the production team
Experience as a Line Leader, Team Leader, Senior Operator or similar would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of HACCP and GMP.
