CNC Recruitment is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Operator to join our client in Wincanton - a well-respected food production business in the Southwest region.
Location: Wincanton
Hours: Week 1 6.00am - 2.00pm, Week 2 10.00am - 6.00pm (Rotating Shift)
Salary: £27,361 (raising to £28,921 after probation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collection of micro samples (Products, Air Plates, Swabs and Water)
- Booking and sending micro and chemical samples
- Updating micro schedules
- Completing line specifications using various IT applications
- Packing and sending of customer samples
- Routine auditing of process control paperwork and on-line product assessment to ensure compliance
- Assisting in investigation of customer complaints
- Conducting taste panels and application testing of product
- Carrying out internal audits and traceability
- Filing of process control paperwork
- Assisting in completion of QAS documents for new products
- Reporting to management any non-conformances, followed up when required with preventative and corrective actions
- Any other duties as required by the technical department
Requirements:
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good IT skills
- Experience of working alone and as part of a team
