CNC Recruitment is seeking Semi-Skilled Welders to join our client in the Ilminster area - a well-known construction company in the Southwest area. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various welding techniques and possess mechanical knowledge to fabricate and assemble metal components.

Location: Ilton

Job type: Temp-Perm

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Salary: up to £20 an hour, depending on experience.

Duties:
  • Perform welding tasks using different techniques such as stick welding
  • Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to engineering drawings
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet standards
Requirements:
  • Proficient in welding techniques including stick welding
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
