CNC Recruitment is seeking MIG and TIG Welders and Fabricators of all levels (junior through to senior, semi-skilled and skilled) to join our reputable clients across Somerset. This is an excellent opportunity for welders who take pride in precision, quality, and working independently within a structured workshop environment. Further training opportunities are available on all roles.

Location: Bridgwater, Ilminster, Crewkerne, Chard, Sparkford

Pay Rate: Competitive (up to £25 per hour)

Hours: Day shifts ranging from 7.30am - 5pm, overtime available on all roles.

Contract: Temporary and permanent roles on offer, excellent rates of pay.

Key Duties:

  • TIG welding, MIG welding and fabrication
  • Set up and operate workshop machinery including bandsaw, pillar drill, rollers, and press brake
  • Quality assurance
  • Work to EN1090 standards and company processes
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Requirements:

  • Consistently hands-on welders/fabricators - all levels of work backgrounds considered
  • Ideally minimum 1+ years welding/fabrication experience
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings independently (training can be given)
  • Quality-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Reliable, positive, team-first attitude
  • Good communication skills
