CNC Recruitment are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a growing, family-run business operating across three sites in Cullompton, Axminster, and Blandford. This is a varied role involving both workshop-based repairs and on-site customer call-outs across the South West. Flexibility is essential, as the company is moving towards a 24-hour operation and may require evening call-outs where necessary.
Technicians will work as part of a team within the workshop and independently when attending customer sites (following initial supported training period). Travel between sites and customer locations will be required using a company van.
Location: Cullompton, Axminster & Blandford (travel across the South West required)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week (30-minute unpaid break)
Shifts: Flexible Weekday, Weekend & Night shifts available
Pay Rate: From £14 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
About You
The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and have a good sense of humour to fit within a family-run business culture. You should be adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on vans
- Diagnosing faults and completing mechanical repairs

Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Mechanics (or currently working towards)
- Proven experience repairing vans
- Full UK driving licence (as clean as possible)
- EV training - desirable
- Right to Work in the UK
- Good level of spoken and written English
