CNC Recruitment are looking for a skilled and reliable Sales Admin Assistant to join our client in Yeovil – a well-respected aerospace engineering company.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 5.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 12.30pm

Job Type: Temp to Perm (Permanent after 16 weeks)

Salary: Β£13

The Sales Administration Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Internal Sales Manager and the wider commercial function. You will be responsible for day-to-day sales administration, coordinating customer enquiries and orders, and ensuring a high standard of service throughout the customer journey. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment and wants to develop within a technical manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Internal Sales Manager with customer enquiries, quotations, order processing, and follow-ups
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers, providing professional and timely responses
  • Prepare, issue, and manage sales documentation including quotations and order acknowledgements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order records within the MRP system (training provided)
  • Coordinate with internal teams to support order fulfilment, deliveries, and order tracking
  • Assist with general sales and commercial administration as required

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales support, customer service, or administrative role is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • A positive, team-focused attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of optical products or electrical harnessing would be advantageous but is not essential
