CNC Recruitment is working with a leading aerospace manufacturing business to recruit a Masking Operator to join their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail who enjoys precision work in a manufacturing environment.
You ll be responsible for preparing aerospace components for coating and finishing processes, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout production.
Whether you have previous masking or aerospace experience, or transferable skills from a precision manufacturing environment, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
The Role As a Masking Operator, you ll prepare, mask and finish aerospace components prior to coating processes.
You ll use a variety of hand tools, masking materials and preparation techniques to ensure components meet strict quality and customer specifications.
Working closely with production teams, you ll play a key role in maintaining product quality while ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities Wash, clean and degrease components prior to treatment and coating.
Prepare components using hand tools and small power tools.
Apply masking tapes, stopping-off lacquer and other masking materials to protect designated areas during coating.
Carry out wax masking processes where required.
