CNC Recruitment are seeking a Packing Operative for our client in Ilminster – a global automotive company.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £13.45 an hour
- Shift: Monday – Thursday 7am – 4pm
- Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Receive products for packaging and verify their condition.
- Generate and print accurate labels for all products.
- Perform ultrasonic inspection of parts when required.
- Book products through the company ERP system.
- Package and label products in line with company and customer specifications.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area.
- Report any issues or concerns promptly to the Manager.
- Work flexibly as part of the team, supporting and training colleagues as needed.
- Rotate into the dispatch area to ensure external packing meets customer requirements.
- Assist with storing products and replenishing stock in designated areas.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum GCSE (Grade C or equivalent) in English, Maths, and Science.
- Experience working to quality and customer standards.
- Ability to consistently meet high standards.
- Self-motivated and adaptable team player.
- Ability to read and interpret batch cards accurately.
- Working knowledge of computerised systems and ERP software.
