Recruitment through CNC Recruitment seeking skilled Welder / Fabricators to join a reputable client in the Bridgwater area. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Welders who take pride in their precision and independence.

Location: Bridgwater

Rate: Skilled Welder Fabricator (£15–£17/hr), Senior/Lead Welder Fabricator (£17–£20/hr)

Hours: 07:00–16:00, Monday to Friday

Start Date: 5th Jan 2026

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Key Duties:

  • Fabricate steel components from engineering drawings
  • MIG welding (TIG desirable)
  • Set up and use workshop machines: bandsaw, pillar drill, rollers, press brake
  • Dimensional checks & basic QA
  • Follow EN1090 and company process
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organised workspace
  • Support apprentices and junior staff
  • Log work correctly on our production system

Minimum Experience / Qualifications:

  • 2+ years fabrication experience
  • Able to read drawings independently
  • Reliable, positive, team-first attitude
  • Good communication
  • Quality-focused mindset
