CNC Precision are currently recruiting a Cylindrical Grinder / Universal Grinder.
Salary: £17.00 - £18.00 Per Hour, Plus Overtime & Benefits
Location: High Wycombe
We are looking for a Cylindrical Grinder to join our team.
- Time served Manual Cylindrical Grinder and Universal Grinder. Apprentice trained would be advantageous.
- Experience of setting and operating Manual Jones & Shipman Uni/Surface-grinders.
- Be experienced in the tool selection, setting, and proving of operations following or instigating SOP instructions.
- Be able to dress and rad form wheels.
- Able to read and interpret from process or complex engineering drawings.
- Meet deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of quality.
- Have worked with a variety of materials.
- Good problem-solving ability.
- A high degree of understanding of fine tolerances (0.0002”/0.004mm), finishes (4micro/.1mm), compounded angles (15secs/.25deg).
- Manufacturing/Motorsport/Aerospace background.
- Be able to communicate well and be part of a team.
- Good understanding of associated inspection techniques/methods required to ensure component conformity.
