A highly successful precision engineering company based in Harlow is looking for an experienced Toolmaker to join their team. The company continuously invests in state-of-the-art machinery, enabling them to maintain their excellent reputation within their industry.
The company is looking for a good all-rounder toolmaker, and the candidate will also have machine building experience.
Duties:- To repair and/or maintain all tooling.
- Experienced operating Toolroom machinery.
- Toolmaker - Operating Manual Lathes, Mills, EDM and grinding machines.
- Machine Build - Special Purpose Machinery.
- To support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality and production output targets.
- Ensure that tooling is repaired and refurbished as necessary within the limits of the tool room capabilities.
- Produce and repair jigs and fixtures as requested.
- Ability to operate Tool room machinery.
- Experience operating manual mills and lathes.
- Machine Building Experience.
- Can read engineering drawings.
- Flexible attitude.
- Apprenticeship trained.
- Good communication skills.
- Enthusiasm, loyalty, flexibility, the ability to work with team members and a caring attitude towards the job.
Salary: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (Rising to £22.00 After Probation). Overtime available.
