We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter Assembler.
Location: Rochester - with UK and international travel
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 pa depending on skill level + overtime
Hours: 39 hours per week, 45 minute break
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm
- Friday 8am to 2pm

The Mechanical Fitter role is mainly workshop based working as part of a small team building new machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in assembling, servicing, dismantling, and moving machinery in the UK and abroad (Europe, Philippines, Malaysia, India, etc.).
- Work as part of a small team in a workshop environment to build new machinery.
- Travel in support of assignments; usual travel is typically for no more than a week at a time, approximately 5 times a year.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Mechanical assembly with excellent attention to detail.
- Read technical drawings.
- Manual milling / turning – able to manufacture simple jigs.
- Electrical knowledge desirable, but not essential.
- Candidates must be free to travel to all countries without restrictions; UK driver license is essential.
