Well established business who specialise in the manufacture of precision engineered components are looking for a CNC Turner Programmer Setter to join their team. They produce precision parts supplying the Aerospace and Oil & Gas industries. The company have a large modern machining facility and are offering a great opportunity for the right engineer with lots of overtime available.
The role will be predominantly programming, setting and operating CNC Lathes. You will be producing precision components in small to medium batch work quantities.
Duties:
- To program, set and operate CNC Mazak Nexus 250 lathes via Mazatrol controls.
- Machining to tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
- Able to maintain and monitor their own quality control using micrometers, Vernier’s and gauges.
Requirements:
- Experienced CNC Turner.
- Experienced using Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.
- Ability to accurately interpret and work from Engineering drawings to BS/ISO standards.
- Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines and agreed targets.
- Experience machining to tight tolerances.
Machines: Mazak Quick Turns 250
Hours of Work: Days with lots of overtime available. 07.00 - 16.00 Monday to Thursday, 07.00 - 12.00 Friday.
Salary and Benefits: £19.00 - £22.00 per hour Overtime Benefits.
