Manual Turner Salary 16.00 – 18.00 per hour plus overtime & benefits Cheltenham The Company An established sub contract tooling manufacturer based in the Cheltenham area are looking for a time served Manual Turner to join their friendly team. The company supply everything from individual components to complete tooling packages to suit the customers individual requirements. Duties Setting and Operating Manual lathes in order to produce components. Inspecting own work to ensure quality is met (Vernier, calliper, depth gauge, micrometre). Maintaining ISO9001 Quality standards. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Requirements The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Manual Turner for a minimum of 4 years Previous experience Setting and Operating Manual lathes in order to produce components Experience working to tight quality standards Duties would include facing to length, top turning, internal boring and finish turning. Materials are stainless steel, Inconel, Titanium and carbon steels. Working Hours Monday – Thursday – 8:00am – 4:30pm Fridays – Early Finish 37 Hours Salary 16.00 – 18.00 per hour, dependent on skill level and previous experience 28 days holiday including bank holidays Pension Overtime available during busy periods #J-18808-Ljbffr
