The Role
What You’ll Be Doing:
Portfolio management: Oversee underwriting activity and pricing strategy to deliver profitable business outcomes across the Marine Cargo book.
Broker engagement: Build and maintain strong broker relationships to support business development and market presence.
Strategic contribution: Influence underwriting policy, regional initiatives and business strategy to support growth objectives.
Governance & reporting: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and provide clear performance reporting to senior management.
What We’re Looking For:
Technical expertise: Advanced knowledge of Marine cargo underwriting and insurance principles.
Communication skills: Strong stakeholder management, negotiation and presentation capabilities.
Analytical thinking: Ability to assess risk, solve complex problems and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Regulatory awareness: Solid understanding of legal and regulatory requirements within insurance markets.
