The Role
We are currently hiring for a Director – Security Partner in our London office to lead the delivery and oversight of Information Security across CNA Hardy. This is a senior leadership role responsible for aligning global security strategy with local business needs, acting as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership, and driving enterprise-wide security initiatives that safeguard our systems, data, and operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Security Leadership & Strategy: Lead the implementation of global information security strategy at CNA Hardy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and local operational needs.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary liaison between global Information Security and the CNA Hardy IT and business teams, embedding security into core business processes and decision-making.
- Risk & Threat Management: Identify emerging vulnerabilities, assess risk impacts, and drive effective mitigation strategies in collaboration with global security leadership.
- Security Operations & Incident Management: Oversee detection, response, and resolution of security incidents, ensuring adherence to global policies and regulatory requirements.
- Leadership & Governance: Provide oversight and leadership to security teams and initiatives, delivering reporting, insights, and assurance to senior leadership, regulators, and enterprise risk functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Deep Information Security Expertise: Strong technical knowledge across information security domains including risk management, security operations, and incident response.
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Expert understanding of security regulations, frameworks, and internal controls, particularly within complex, regulated environments.
- Leadership & Influencing Skills: Proven ability to lead teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive adoption of security best practice across an organisation.
- Project & Change Delivery: Demonstrated experience leading security initiatives and projects through full lifecycle delivery across enterprise environments.
- Strong Communication & Stakeholder Management: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across IT, business leadership, and external stakeholders.
