Overview
In this role you will lead the end-to-end onboarding and renewal of delegated authority and portfolio solutions, guiding technical decisions and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to meet governance standards. You’ll own the due diligence and approval workflow for Coverholders, MGAs and other delegated arrangements, shaping how onboarding and governance operate at scale. You’ll drive process improvements, enhance management information, and support a target operating model in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end due diligence, approval and renewal for delegated arrangements (Coverholders, MGAs, portfolio solutions)
- Provide guidance on delegated underwriting structures, operating models, governance, and risk
- Act as central liaison across Underwriting, Compliance, Legal, Claims, Finance, Operations and external partners
- Maintain governance controls, track approval conditions, oversee materiality assessments and manage endorsements and evidence
- Manage workloads, ensure quality assurance, produce management information, train and drive onboarding process improvements and target operating model enhancements
Key requirements
- Delegated underwriting expertise in delegated authority, governance, risk, or related function
- London Market experience and knowledge of binding authorities, lineslips, broker facilities, consortia, master policies, third-party claims arrangements
- Proven ability to coordinate complex activities across multiple teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to review extensive documentation and manage priorities
- Experience with PAS and Lloyd’s systems and a track record of process improvements in onboarding, controls, workflow or MI
