A growing SaaS Social Media company is seeking a proactive and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their team.
Specialising in social media management for the public sector, the company has built a trusted technology platform that helps over 400+ current clients including nationwide councils, emergency services, rail companies and government organisations, amongst others, improve citizen engagement.
With recent investment in new product modules, they are now expanding their commercial reach and need an ambitious SDR to help drive growth. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a high-growth sales environment with clear career progression.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound and inbound lead generation. You will engage with key decision-makers in the public sector, understanding their challenges and positioning the company’s solutions effectively.
Using calls, emails, and social outreach, you will build meaningful relationships and generate high-quality leads for the wider sales team. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to create sales pipeline opportunities that contribute to revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have six to eighteen months of experience in B2B sales development, preferably within SaaS, and a track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets. You should be comfortable conducting outreach, have strong communication skills, and be motivated by hitting KPIs. An understanding of how technology can enhance public sector engagement is beneficial, but the most important qualities are resilience, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset.
In return, you will join a collaborative and social team that values professional development and work-life balance. The role offers a competitive salary of up to £30K, with performance-based commission that can add another £10K – £15K (uncapped) on top.
Hybrid working is available, with two days per week in the company’s Birmingham office. Clear career progression paths are in place, leading into Business Development or Account Management roles.
If you\’re looking to build a rewarding career in SaaS sales, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
