This retained assignment supports a global HR certification and people insights organisation. The Business Development Manager role is created to strengthen new‑business acquisition and broaden engagement with enterprise HR decision‑makers across the UK & Ireland.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new logo revenue by engaging HR Directors, Chief People Officers, and senior stakeholders within large organisations.
  • Execute a structured target‑account strategy, map buying journeys, and position a globally recognised HR certification programme as a strategic investment.
  • Manage consultative, value‑led, multi‑threaded sales cycles requiring commercial credibility and strong stakeholder management.
  • Measure success through pipeline quality, new client acquisition, and long‑term revenue contribution.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years’ experience in B2B new‑business sales, preferably in HR, professional services, or insight‑led environments.
  • Strong prospecting capability, consultative selling skills, and resilience.
  • Comfort navigating complex buying groups.
  • Experience using LinkedIn, social selling, and structured outbound methodologies (highly desirable).
