Are you a driven B2B sales closer who enjoys turning warm, lapsed and self-generated opportunities into signed business?
Our client is an established, independent provider of employee assistance programmes and workplace mental health services, supporting employers across the United Kingdom.
They are hiring a remote Business Development Manager to own the sales cycle from first contact to contract.
The role is open as the company builds out its sales function and expands its commercial capacity.
You will respond quickly to inbound enquiries, qualify needs, run remote sales conversations, handle objections and close.
A substantial pool of warm and previously lapsed leads gives you productive opportunities from the outset.
You will also identify organisations with similar needs, create focused prospect lists and develop your own outbound pipeline.
Typical opportunities range from approximately £5,000 to £40,000-£50,000 in annual value, with a first-year revenue target of around £200,000-£230,000.
You will bring at least three years of active B2B selling and closing experience, with four to five years preferred.
Your results should show conversion rates, deal volumes and targets achieved across a full sales cycle.
You must be confident selling by telephone and video, managing your own activity and following up without close supervision.
Experience in employee assistance programmes, health, insurance, wellbeing or HR services is helpful, as is a record of re-engaging old opportunities and opening new market niches.
The role offers a £35,000 base salary and £15,000 realistic on-target earnings, with uncapped commission paid at 10% of first-year revenue on new deals.
It is home-based across the United Kingdom, with occasional team meetings expected around once per quarter.
Benefits include 33 days' holiday including bank holidays, an extra day off for your birthday, company sick pay, discounts and rewards, an employee assistance programme, adaptable working hours, a workplace pension, team days and continuing professional development.
You will work in a small, independent, family-owned business that offers training and career progression as its sales function develops.
