The Role: We are looking for a commercially minded Field Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of retail and hospitality customers across London. This is a hands on field based role where you will take ownership of your accounts working closely with store owners and managers to improve sales performance, product mix and availability.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of retail and hospitality customer accounts
- Build strong long term relationships with store owners and managers
- Actively manage customer inventory to maximise availability and reduce waste
- Place and manage customer orders in collaboration with the shop manager
- Sell in new product lines, range extensions and promotional activity
- Identify opportunities to grow sales volume, order frequency and product mix
- Carry out regular store visits to review performance and plan growth actions
- Open and develop new customer accounts within your territory
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service levels
- Deliver agreed sales growth, customer and range KPIs
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in field sales, account management or a customer facing commercial role
- Background in food and drink wholesale, convenience or hospitality preferred
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship building skills
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently
- Confident communicator with a hands on approach
- Full UK driving licence
