CN Electrical Services are a rapidly growing electrical NICEIC approved contractor based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We offer commercial, domestic and industrial electrical services across the North East of England. Due to our increased workloads and continuous growth we are looking to recruit an electrician to join our team.
You must have a Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent). The role will be field based around Newcastle upon Tyne and will involve all aspects of domestic and commercial electrical work. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and all of our work comes from word of mouth and customer recommendations. You must have great customer service skills and take pride in your work.
Key Responsibilities to Include:
- Installations: Perform first and second-fix electrical installations across commercial, industrial, or domestic properties in accordance with BS 7671 standards.
- Testing & Inspection: Execute periodic inspections, fault-finding, and Fixed Wire Testing (EICR).
- Project Delivery: Work independently or lead a small team/apprentices, setting out systems of work directly from scopes.
- Maintenance: Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive call-outs to minimize downtime.
- Material Management: Liaise with suppliers, accurately order necessary materials, and manage site stock level.
Essential Qualifications & Requirements:
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- JIB Approved Electrician grading
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018A2)
- City & Guilds 2391 (or current equivalent) for Inspection, Testing, and Certification
- Valid ECS or CSCS card
- Full UK Driving License
