We are seeking a talented Scientific Writer to join our Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about communicating the latest scientific technical advancements. Organ-on-a-chip technology, also known as microphysiological systems, is not only transforming the efficiency and accuracy of drug development workflows, but is also integral to supporting rising global regulatory change to phase out animal testing. Candidates wishing to apply must be familiar with the life sciences sector and skilled at translating complex scientific concepts into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, or support the development of high-quality scientific content such as:
  • Application Notes showcasing experimental workflows and data
  • White Papers on regulatory trends and ethical shifts in drug development
  • Blog Posts on drug development challenges that OOC/MPS can overcome
  • Technical Editorial Articles for industry press to increase visibility
  • Case Studies highlighting customer success stories to show utility
  • Infographics making complex concepts easy to understand at a glance
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to compile an initial briefing document and again before publishing to ensure accuracy and credibility.
  • Create compelling marketing copy for email campaigns, social media posts, and website landing pages to promote created content
  • Support improvements to brand guidelines, voice and lexicon to better align company communication.
  • Qualifications and Experience

    • Degree in life sciences or related field.
    • Proven experience in scientific writing, ideally within life science, biotech or pharmaceutical sectors.
    • Ability to simplify complex topics for both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills.
    • Ability to manage stakeholders and make them accountable to your timeframes to deliver work.
    • Familiarity with SEO/AEO principles, AI and digital marketing is a plus.
