About Us Since starting in Perth in 2012, CMW Geosciences has expanded to 19 business units with over 300 employees across Australia and New Zealand. We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate Geotech professionals, providing quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction, infrastructure, mining and energy sectors.

Our North Queensland team in Australia is looking to bring on a Senior or Associate Geotechnical Engineer, subject to experience. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, assisting with business development, proposal writing, mentoring junior engineers and providing Construction Phase support. The successful candidate will also have experience with temporary works.

This position can be based in Townsville, Rockhampton or Mackay in Australia.

What You\'ll Need

  • A Civil Engineering or Geology Degree
  • Minimum of 6 years\' experience, preferably in a geotechnical consultancy
  • Demonstrable experience in the preparation and review of written technical reports and client communications
  • Proven experience in geotechnical design within rock and soil
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers in the team
  • Experience with Construction Phase Support and Temporary works
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • A full driver\'s license
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
