We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Project & Operations Coordinator to support day-to-day project tracking, reporting, and team coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career or returning to the workforce who enjoys working with data, staying organized, and helping teams stay on track. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with spreadsheets, has strong communication skills, and enjoys following up with others to ensure tasks are completed on time.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update project trackers, task lists, and status reports using Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
  • Organize and format data into clear, professional tables and reports for presentations and meetings
  • Create and update presentation materials in Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Track project milestones, deadlines, and action items across multiple initiatives
  • Follow up with team members on outstanding tasks and gather status updates
  • Help ensure commitments are met by reminding stakeholders of upcoming deadlines and documenting progress
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and outstanding items to project leads
  • Support ad hoc reporting, data organization, and administrative project activities
  • Assist with meeting preparation, note-taking, and documenting action items when needed
  • Complete any additional tasks as they arise

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including:
    • Basic formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, COUNT, etc.)
    • Sorting and filtering data
    • Creating charts and trendlines
    • Formatting spreadsheets for readability
  • Familiarity with Google Slides or Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work effectively
  • Comfortable communicating with teammates to gather updates and clarify information
  • Ability to work independently while keeping stakeholders informed of progress

Nice to Haves:

  • Previous administrative, office, customer service, internship, or project support experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience using task management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Jira, or similar is helpful but not required

Base Salary Range:

The base salary range for this position is: $60,000 to $65,000. This range is specifically for Cambridge, MA.
