The Workday Talent Lead plays a critical role within an organisation, serving as the linchpin between business strategy and operational execution. This individual is entrusted with optimising end-to-end performance and talent processes, ensuring that business objectives are not only met but exceeded through effective planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires an analytical and proactive approach. You will be skilled at guiding cross-functional teams, driving process efficiency, and fostering a culture of excellence in operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Optimisation and Improvement
    • Design, implement, and continuously refine performance management processes and frameworks across the organisation.
    • Support the design and implementation of new talent management processes.
    • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas of improvement using data-driven analysis and process mapping techniques.
    • Lead cross-functional projects to streamline operational workflows, reduce cycle times, and improve service delivery.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to align process improvements with strategic objectives.
  • Reporting and Performance Insights
    • Work with the HR Reporting team to create and monitor reports.
    • Develop, maintain and review key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards.
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
    • Establish feedback loops and reporting mechanisms to monitor progress and identify emerging risks or issues.
    • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for talent and performance process-related matters between operational teams, leadership, and external partners.
    • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and meetings to promote best practices and process adherence.
    • Communicate process changes, updates, and expectations clearly and effectively to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Change Management
    • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adaptability among teams.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure all operational processes adhere to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies in the countries we operate in.
    • Implement quality control measures and audit processes to maintain high operational standards.
    • Investigate process failures or deviations, initiating corrective and preventive actions as necessary.
  • Technology
    • Support the implementation of Workday Performance to support process automation and data analytics.
    • Support the future design and implementation of Talent processes in Workday.
    • Work with the Workday programme team specialist to ensure system updates are managed and coordinate effectively.
    • Deliver training on performance and talent processes in Workday to key teams as required.
    • Champion the use of digital platforms and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
