We have an excellent opportunity to join our award winning ESG team. We are looking to recruit a proactive ESG executive to help deliver and support our international ESG programme. This role is focused on our social impact and sustainability engagement programmes. We offer hybrid working for this role.

About the role

Responsible Business lies at the heart of CMS and our purpose is to inspire, impact and support our clients, people, industry sectors and communities and to deliver excellence. The aim of our Social Impact programme is to ensure that together and individually, we are able to make a positive difference in the communities we live and work in, both locally and globally.

You will be a key member of the ESG team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social impact and sustainability, be a self-starter, excellent communicator and able to balance a busy workload.

You will be supporting the Head of ESG, Senior Responsible Business managers and wider team and working on a broad range of the firm’s ESG activities, engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you can expect to get involved in a variety of work including:
•Managing a variety of different employee volunteering programmes across the business including employee engagement, volunteer recruitment, event set up, event delivery and evaluation to ensure maximum impact.
•Working in collaboration with key stakeholders, including clients both internally and externally, to help deliver social impact and sustainability projects
•Managing aspects of the firm’s charitable giving programmes including fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns.
•Communicating our social impact and sustainability strategy and progress effectively across all our different stakeholders and channels.
•Building engagement and embedding social impact and sustainability across the business, both locally and globally.
•Liaising with and managing internal and external stakeholder relationships and preparing reports and presentations for internal and external submission/distribution.
•Developing and maintaining relationships internally and externally including with community partners, organisations and networks.
•Managing administrative tasks such as the processing of invoices, budget managing, data capture and reporting.
•Working with colleagues to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the function.

We\’re looking for you to have 2/3 years+ experience within a similar role or in a role in event management, employee engagement or communications. To be successful in this role you\’ll need:

•To be an energetic resilient individual, who has a proactive ‘can do’ attitude, strong organisational and project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, spoken and presentational with a demonstrated experience of delivering excellent levels of client service.
•Strong project management experience with proven ability to manage multiple deliverables within a tight timeframe.
•Ability to build strong business relationships with internal and external clients and excellent influencing and networking skills.
•A confident, proactive individual prepared to take a hands-on approach to managing their workload using their own initiative
