Our award-winning Real Estate team is looking to recruit an Associate in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

About the role
Working as part of this friendly and market leading Real Estate team you will handle a wide range of real estate transactions across several sectors with a particular focus on investment, development, renewables and asset management work.
You will have the opportunity to deal with high value and prestigious transactions and work with some of the most significant investors and developers in the Scotland Real Estate market. The CMS Real Estate team advises on all aspects of the real estate market from the traditional asset classes (of offices, retail and industrial) and to some of the newer real estate asset classes such as student accommodation, hotels and leisure, renewables and the PRS sector.

You will:
β Have worked within a recognised real estate department of a major or medium sized firm, ideally 3-6PQE.
β Be adept at supervising and mentoring junior lawyers.
β Have excellent written and oral communication skills.
β Be commercially orientated with good business acumen and a commitment to innovation.
β Have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
β Be well-organised with strong administration and time management skills and the ability and drive to meet demanding deadlines.
