Our Global Leading client is seeking a Head of Illicit Trade Prevention to play a key role in safeguarding their products, reputation, and consumers from the threats of counterfeiting, product diversion, and illegal trade.
About the Role
- You’ll be at the forefront of executing anti-illicit trade strategies, conducting high-impact investigations, and collaborating with enforcement authorities to protect our business and brand integrity.
- This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional engagement across legal, corporate affairs, security, and risk.
- Lead investigations into illicit activity, overseeing consultants and building evidence packages to drive enforcement and advocacy efforts.
- Roll out strategic initiatives aligned with global and local business priorities to combat product diversion and counterfeiting.
- Coordinate cross-functional responses by activating internal Centres of Expertise (Forensics, Supply Chain Integrity, Research, External Affairs, etc.).
- Build partnerships with law enforcement, government agencies, and NGOs to promote stronger enforcement frameworks and public-private collaboration.
- Support policy and regulatory engagement to enhance deterrence measures and align with broader corporate objectives.
The Person
- A proven track record in brand protection, investigations, or law enforcement.
- Strong knowledge of illicit trade risks and financial crimes, could be Pharmaceuticals, FMCG, or tobacco.
- Experience developing and executing intelligence-led anti-illicit trade strategies.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and cross-border collaboration.
- Fluent in English and Greek, both written and spoken.
- A strong ethical compass and commitment to integrity.
