Job Details Role Description The delivery team within the business has two departments – Projects & Engineering. The engineering department comprises of Pre-Planned Maintenance, Service & Small Works up to a typical value of £k. The individual will take day to day management of the department whilst continuing to lead from the front working in the field % of the time and becoming the line manager for staff employed within; taking on a senior management position within the business. Key Responsibilities Ensuring quality of work carried out by engineering staff and sub-contractors complies with NSI Gold requirements Carrying out spot checks each week for attendance and quality of workmanship Managing and delegating engineering escalations within the department Attending monthly management meetings to both contribute and work with the other senior managers within the business Manage and delegate small works projects to project engineers/installation engineers and or sub-contractors where required Providing small works quotes where required for time and materials Meeting clients with the Small Works Manager as and when required Agree performance goals for team members and monitor performance on a continual basis Ensuring a consistency of installation and service delivery across the customer base in line with industry standards, company working practices and procedures Ensure a safe and secure working environment at all times for our own employees and those of our customer’s Ensuring approved sub-contractors and suppliers are performance/compliance monitored in order to maintain approval listing Appraise all new sub-contractors via the company’s in-house selection process prior to acceptance/rejection of their application Key Performance Indicators Ensure bi-annual appraisals are carried out for all engineering staff within the department Key Account retention through monthly KPI documents being % + Job sheets to be completed on target margins Staff retention within the department Ensuring the safety of staff on site Skills & Experience Required Minimum of + years in industry Experience of dealing with corporate and global accounts Ideally the candidate should have knowledge of both fire and security systems Benefits Company Perks as mentioned on our Company Website Company vehicle or vehicle allowance Company Oyster Card Company Barclaycard Laptop Company Mobile Company pension Scheme If interested please contact Reiss Gordon on or #J-18808-Ljbffr
