We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager within the security sector to join our company in various regional roles in Southern England. In this role, you will be responsible for building and developing relationships with current and prospective customers, identifying new opportunities across your territory to generate sales and increase revenue. You will also be required to ensure existing customers receive the right support and solutions.

Main responsibilities:

  • To develop new opportunities with existing customers across all sectors of the business.
  • Target new accounts to generate growth.
  • Identify, build, and maintain a strong pipeline for existing accounts.
  • Work closely with our manufacturers and partners to ensure customers are receiving the best solutions.
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process, identifying opportunities, on-boarding customers, negotiating and closing pitches, and liaising with vendors.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of products and services from all our partners.
  • Increase knowledge of the industry and competitor activity to enhance our market position.
  • Ability to manage own diary and time effectively.
  • Previous demonstrable experience within a business development role is required.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder & Fire industry highly desirable.
  • Professional, business focused, and results driven.
  • Strong individual with a positive outlook.
  • PC literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages.
  • Confident negotiator with the ability to ‘close deals’.
