We are looking for a part time Accounts Assistant for a small engineering company.
Responsibilities
- Invoicing: Processing, raising, sending sales invoices & handling purchase ledger duties.
- Payments & Expenses: Processing payments from customers.
- Ledgers: Maintaining sales & purchase ledgers.
- Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements.
- Credit control: Chasing overdue customer payments.
- Reporting: Running reports, VAT returns & monthly / year end closing.
- Administration: Handling calls, emails, filing & data entry.
- Payroll: Preparing & sending spreadsheet to payroll bureau.
Requirements
We are looking for someone with previous experience in finance or an accounts assistant role. With excellent accuracy, attention to detail, numeracy, organizational & communication skills, competence with spreadsheets & accounting software.
Employment details
This is a part time, permanent position, working 15 / 20 hours a week. Pay & holidays to be discussed.
