We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Senior Tax Manager to join our dynamic tax team as our Deputy Head of Tax. You can be based in Edinburgh, Sheffield or London.
About the Role
This role will focus on assisting the current Head Of Tax while managing complex tax matters relating to tax projects, international partners and cross-border structures within the CMS CMNO LLP network. You will play a key role in ensuring compliance, advising on tax implications of international working arrangements, and supporting strategic initiatives across jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of Tax on ad hoc partnership and international projects
- Supporting the existing senior tax manager team
- Assist with tax advisory and compliance for International Managers (IMs) and LLP members across CMS's global offices.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to assess tax risks and implement compliant solutions for international structures and projects
- Manage relationships with external tax advisors and ensure alignment with CMS's internal policies.
- Support the development and implementation of tax policies for international partners, self-employed consultants, and branch employees.
- Monitor legislative changes and assess their impact.
