About The Role
We are looking for a Legal Operations Business Analyst to join our London team on a 6 Month Fixed‑Term Contract. One of the exciting opportunities of this role is the breadth of exposure you will gain from working with a diverse team of Legal Operations Business Partners. The team aims to use data in meaningful ways to support the consultative model we deploy. The role requires both good data analysis skills as well as strong commercial competencies to interpret and draw meaningful conclusions. This requires understanding the challenges of navigating our data and the associated complexities and potential limitations involved in analysing it, in order to provide meaningful and actionable insights.
Typical Responsibilities Will Include
Interact with business stakeholders and the Legal Ops team to understand business issues and problems
Project management experience: ability to understand how to scope and deliver against a specific brief
Gather data from primary and secondary sources in a structured and cohesive way
Produce actionable business insights from detailed data analysis and modelling
Comfortable presenting findings to a broad stakeholder group, including senior levels.
Interpret trends from different data sets to support the development of solutions for key projects
Advise best practice and provide technical training and support to team members
Strategic analysis to support financial and progress reporting for teams and projects
Communicate effectively with different stakeholders
About You
We are looking for candidates with a background in professional services or the legal sector, with an understanding of a partnership culture and in particular:
Proven BA experience in a commercial role
Strong ability to build credible relationships at all levels of seniority
Highly analytical and solution orientated
Strong ability to translate objectives into tangible outputs to meet specific needs
Ability to manage different stakeholder types confidently and diplomatically
Ability to confidently sell value, benefits, and results to improve buy‑in/engagement
Project management experience and a proven understanding for behavioural considerations involved
Ability to confidently advise, consult and influence in all situations
Comfortable with ‘unknowns’
Experience of process mapping a plus
Able to prioritise quickly, often in busy periods, in a calm manner
Invested team player and confident to collaborate
Strong ability to multi‑task and maintain excellent attention to detail
Education/Qualification
Degree (or equivalent)
Office Skills
Excellent working skills of MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Advanced knowledge and experience of data manipulation and visualisation tools including Excel and PowerBI
Ideally knowledge of process mapping including tools such as Visio
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
