Contextual Overview
CMS UK is seeking an experienced lawyer (3-7 PQE) to join its highly regarded Energy & Infrastructure practice in London. The firm houses the largest UK-based team dedicated to this industry, advising public and private sector clients globally on all lifecycle aspects of infrastructure projects.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years PQE.
- Prior experience in Construction, Infrastructure/Projects, or general commercial contracts is desirable.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Working with public and private sector clients on the procurement and negotiation of contracts for new infrastructure projects.
- Advising infrastructure funds and asset managers on contract issues and portfolio changes.
- Advising contractors on new and existing infrastructure project contracts.
- Handling contract expiry, asset handback, and distressed projects.
- Advising on settlement documentation for contractual disputes.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
Stipend/Compensation: Competitive basic salary (reviewed annually) along with a generous bonus scheme and hybrid working policy.
