Overview

The HR Process Improvement Manager plays a critical role within CMS, serving as the link between business strategy and operational execution. This role is responsible for optimising end-to-end performance management processes to ensure that business objectives are met and exceeded through planning, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires an analytical and proactive individual who can guide cross-functional teams, drive process efficiency, and foster a culture of operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implementation and continuous refinement of performance management processes and frameworks across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with the HR Reporting team to create and monitor performance reports.
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics dashboards to track team and organisational performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for process-related matters between operational teams, leadership, and external partners.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and adaptability among teams.
  • Support the implementation of Workday Performance to support process automation and data analytics.
  • Work with the Workday programme team specialist to ensure system updates are managed and coordinated effectively.
  • Champion the use of digital platforms and data-driven decision-making across the organisation.

Qualifications

  • Strong track record in operations management, performance improvement, or a similar role within a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience in leading process optimisation initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, and performance measurement tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results across multiple levels of the organisation.
  • Knowledge of compliance, governance, and quality assurance practices relevant to operational processes.
  • Familiarity with process automation, workflow management, and digital transformation technologies.
