Greenwich, SE10

Ongoing Contract

Various Shift Patterns:

Mon – Thu or Fri – Sun. All shifts rotate on a two-week cycle: two weeks of day shifts followed by two weeks of night shifts. The initial 6 weeks of training will take place during weekdays (Mon-Thu).

  • Day Shift: 6am-5.30pm.
  • Night Shift: 6pm-5.30am.

Rate of Pay

It is dependent on the shift pattern and your experience:

The Mon-Thu shift pays from Β£9-Β£11. The Fri-Sun shift pays from Β£11-Β£14.50

Working in a busy manufacturing and production area for a large engineering company. These roles offer an opportunity to join a world-renowned company, who are specialists in their field.

Working within a team of Technical Assembly Operators, Support Engineers & Team Leaders you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, safe and accurate assembly of subsea telecommunications equipment.

Main Duties

  • Using electrical, electronic or mechanical assembly skills & expertise to ensure product is built to acceptable quality
  • Following Engineering drawings and specifications
  • Building, assembling and installation of modules that make up the suites.
  • Rack wiring completed for all the panels connecting to each other as per drawing.
  • Assembling different power supply units and installation of cubicles.
  • Working on control panels, including complete wiring on the panels using crimp tools
  • Component & D-type connector soldering
  • Electrical/Prototype Wiring
  • PCB Building

Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is desired.
